I got holes in different area codes

Well, different chapters.

While going through editing, I just realized that I'm missing a BIG plot point. In Act 3, my MC fights the villain in a non traditional way.  To avoid it seeming like she's pulling this ability out of her ass at the last minute, I'm going to have to add in 4-5 different scenes through the novel that shows her doing it. The first scene is going to be the introduction to it and the next scenes will delve deeper and deeper into her learning and use of this ability.

I'm now in the first editing phase now. Although I'm annoyed that I missed this obvious plot hole in the first draft, but I'm glad that I caught it so soon in the editing phase. My initial goal is to have first editing done by April 1. I already know that in the later chapters I have a lot of what will amount to first draft writing to do, so that date was already a bit optimistic.

At the moment, I have 65-70 chapters. Mathematically (I know, go ahead and laugh) speaking if I can edit 3 -4 chapters a day I should be able to meet my deadline....

Here's hoping I can meet the deadline.
