Things are coming together

I decided to start marketing The Dragon's Head a bit before it's completed, so yesterday I met with a cover designer to have a stab at my covers. She seems cool. I got her info from a writer's group on Facebook where she dropped a couple of examples of what she's done in the past. 

Her style seems like a cool mixd of ethereal and realistic, so I think it should go well with my themes.

There’s a 600 year old dark magician, serial killer loose in modern San Francisco! Luckily, sexy, sassy and highly intuitive private detective Sherita is there, too. WIP Artist Bio

Mesha Hampton is an Ohio native who has also lived in New York City, Paris and now resides in Oakland. As a little girl she wanted to be an astronaut but soon realized that storytelling is where the real fun is. After studying physics, French literature, philosophy and several languages, her current day job is project manager for tech but her first passions are always writing and travel. She writes screenplays, short stories and novels, mainly in horror, sci-fi and fantasy genres. She sold a horror screenplay several years ago and is currently working on a supernatural thriller novel series, the first book should be out for public consumption in early 2021. As a reader for these types of work, it’s always been important to Mesha to see people who look like her - black and female - represented, which unfortunately is not always the case. That’s why as a writer, she makes sure to have more inclusive characters. Favorite authors include but not limited to Frank Herbert, Philip K.
