The art of war from writers
"A successful writing career must be built upon mental discipline. That doesn't mean that you have to give up your role as the town eccentric. It does mean that you have to write smart if you want to be published."
- James Scott Bell, The art of war for writers
I just started this book and so far I'm loving it. Lots of little tips and tricks for writers. Lots of little exercises and thought provokers. One of the first decisions that I've made from this book is the idea of doing something writing related every day. That can include reading on the craft, actual writing, during writing prompts. I'm not gonna include blogger a writing or any of the marketing stuff. Come to think of it I probably shouldn't include reading so yeah every day I'll do a little something writing related. I'll start with writing 500/day and then hopefully i'll be able to make my way up to 1500 words per day.
