Good news!

Now that we're closer to it happening, I'm ready to announce my good news...

My manager and I came to an agreement where I can continue my contract on a part-time basis! This means that I'll be able to spend 20-30 hours/week doing project management/project coordination duties remotely. I'll have time to devote to writing AND still making enough $$ to pay my bills.  I'll be able to pay my bills and have a little extra to save, eat, brush my teeth, etc.

This is a huge relief because the other option was to be on unemployment which isn't enough to even pay my rent. 

My manager needed to have an idea of when the contract would be up, so I said 4 months. I pretty much pulled that out of my ass because I figured it sounded better than "until I get my first million dollars or find that I need to work full-time because of all the assignments I have". 

So 4 months.

4 months to get my ass in gear and be productive and not procrastinate too much.
